It combines the proven G2 R lever with a powerful 4-piston caliper derived from the gravity-focused Code brakes. G2 RE provides real usable on-trail control-optimal power and modulation mean speed can be controlled in all terrain and in all situations both uphill and downhill.
Lever is based on SRAMs proven G2 R Level brake platform and features a cast aluminum body with stamped aluminum blade
Tool-less reach adjustment to fit riders hands
Utilizes the same proven MatchMaker X clamp system
Caliper features a forged aluminum body and (4) phenolic pistons that have excellent insulator properties
Includes steel-backed sintered brake disc pads. Compatible with all SRAM Code disc brake pads.
